U.S. Oil to build Gain Clean Fuel CNG station for construction firm

U.S. Oil will build a new Gain Clean Fuel station to supply compressed natural gas (CNG) to the Silvi Concrete ready-mix fleet. The station will be located in Fairless Hills, PA, adjacent to Silvi’s Morrisville concrete plant.

Silvi is adding 30 Oshkosh front discharge trucks with 12L CNG engines and two CNG tractors for cement hauling.

“We’re excited with this partnership,” said Larry Silvi, president of Silvi Concrete. “Utilizing CNG will help us better manage our costs. Equally important, it will help us reach our goal of becoming more environmentally friendly while allowing us to deliver the best, most cost-efficient product to our customers.”

The station will be complete in November.

“Partnering with Silvi is a great opportunity as we continue to grow Gain’s footprint nationwide,” said Bill Renz, general manager for Gain Clean Fuel. “We’re on track to add at least 30 new stations per year as more carriers seek to convert their fleets. Our goal is to have more than 100 stations operational in the next three years.”
