Northbound Highway 99 south of Tulare, CA, closed this week

July 16, 2013

The California Transportation Dept. (Caltrans) has announced road closures on northbound Highway 99 near Avenue 184 and the overpass bridge south of Tulare throughout the week.

Caltrans said the Highway 99 northbound lanes near Avenue 184 and the bridge lanes will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Monday to Thursday. Highway traffic will be detoured right before the bridge and rerouted back to Highway 99 just after Avenue 184.

Caltrans said traffic delays can be expected and encouraged motorists to use a different route when possible.

The road closures are needed to complete overpass bridge rehabilitation.
