Cadec Global has acquired InSight business intelligence application source code and distribution rights to the transportation market from Blue Sky Technologies.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
More fleets investing in the macro and micro fleet visibility that the InSight analytics application provides, Cadec said. With easy-to-configure scorecards and quick-to-implement alerts, InSight gives users at-a-glance visibility of their delivery operations by monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) in the areas of safety, customer service, compliance, maintenance and cost.

Acquiring the InSight source code and transportation market distribution rights enables Cadec to control product updates and to ensure that those updates are based on customer input, the company said.
