Cummins launched its 2015 Redefining Tour on Saturday June 13, a coast-to-coast mobile tour showcasing both current and future technologies. The vehicles will be powered by a combination of the current ISX15 engine, the Cummins Eaton SmartAdvantage Powertrain, and the 2017 ISX15 engine with the Single Module after-treatment system. Additionally, the vehicles will feature specifications catering to both fuel-efficiency- and high-performance-oriented customers, according to the company.“One of the key highlights of the caravan is the interactive show trailer that will be on display for customers to walk though and explore,” Cummins said. “This expansive show trailer will feature three additional engines: the ISB6.7, the Cummins Westport ISX12 G natural gas engine and the 2017 ISX15 with the Single Module after-treatment system. Numerous digital and interactive displays highlight the latest in Cummins technology, including ADEPT and Connected Diagnostics.”"It is a delight to kick off the Redefining Tour here in Columbus, with our historic Columbus Engine Plant as the backdrop," said Amy Boerger, vice president, North American Engine Business. "Today and the stops that will follow on the tour are a testament to the commitment Cummins has in listening to and interacting directly with our customers."Cummins representatives will be on hand at each stop to showcase how its leading technology is redefining everything from efficiency to productivity, uptime and customer support and to help answer any questions customers may have, the company said. Unique to the tour will be four designated Power Stops that include additional Cummins-powered diesel and natural gas equipment. The Columbus kickoff event was the first of the four Power Stops, with the additional three stops taking place June 24 in Toronto, Ontario, Aug. 11 in Salt Lake City, Utah and Aug. 21 in Dallas, TX.
