XRS Corp. is offering for the first 300 paid attendees of its XUE 2013 conference a free Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. The event costs $895 per person and attendees get two days’ worth of discussion and insight about mobile technology in the trucking industry, all lodging and meals paid, a pre-event outing to a Minnesota Twins baseball game, and a complimentary Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) 4G LTE tablet.

“Samsung mobile devices exemplify our industry’s rapid adoption of mobile technology,” said Christian Schenk, senior vice president of product and market strategy for XRS. “We are seeing an exciting trend toward a convergence of social media, mobile connectivity, cloud computing and data acquisition that will transform the very future of the trucking business. We are proud to provide these Samsung devices to our customers, as Samsung is leading the industry down the path toward greater efficiency, safety and productivity.”

XUE 2013 will feature an extensive education program, presentations by industry experts and opportunities to meet, socialize and share success stories with other users. XRS team members will be on hand to answer questions, offer advice and interact with users to learn more about how XRS can better meet their needs.

Keynote speaker is Don Mann, author of “Inside SEAL Team Six: My Life and Missions with America’s Elite Warriors.” Annette M. Sandberg, a longtime transportation consultant, former FMCSA administrator and member and leader of the Washington State Patrol, will also join the conference as the luncheon keynote speaker.
