GPS Insight adds Android app

Feb. 12, 2013

GPS Insight has added an Android app for its fleet tracking software. The new app joins the company’s existing iPhone app.

With GPS Insight Mobile for Android, fleet managers can quickly view vehicle location, status, driver, odometer, and more whether they are at their desk or not.

The app is designed to be more user friendly and efficient than using GPS software through a mobile device’s browser, the company said.

“As mobile devices become the new desktop computer, it’s important to support them as we do all browsers. While the full GPS Insight application has always worked on all mobile devices, we are glad to now support both Android and iPhone with the custom-designed mobile app customers have been asking for,” said Rob Donat, founder & CEO of GPS Insight.

Current customers can download the Android app from the Google Play Store.
