myGeoTracking platform integrates with Aljex

Nov. 24, 2015

Abaqusa, provider of myGeoTracking Software-as-a-Service location and messaging platform for supply chain logistics and mobile workforce management, and Aljex Software announced a partnership that the companies say will provide freight brokers and shippers with real-time truck locations and status, including ETA alerts, geofencing, distance estimations and real-time driver updates for any load.

“The integration with Abaqus’ myGeoTracking service means that Aljex customers now have access to powerful load tracking and status options from within the familiar environment of our hosted transportation management software,” said Tom Heine, CEO Aljex. “We look forward to deepening our relationship with Abaqus to bring our customers the best possible solutions.”

The myGeoTracking service turns any driver’s phone into a tool for load location, load status, ETA alerts, and pick-up and delivery confirmation. According to the company, myGeoTracking is also a USPS-certified Logistics Condition Reporting System for freight companies and brokers providing over-the-highway transportation of the U.S. mail.

“FX Logistics has been using Abaqus Load tracking and their USPS LCRS reporting solution for some time now,” said John Huggins, Chief Commercial Officer at FX Logistics. “This integration with Aljexis is a natural step forward that seamlessly integrates our Operations and Compliance reporting processes through one familiar Aljex dashboard. We expect to gain over 50% in efficiency in our Traffic Management and Dispatch operations.”

“We’re pleased to be working with Aljex to bring the benefits of real-time load tracking and status information to their customers,” said Shailendra Jain, CEO of Abaqus. “myGeoTracking can help brokers and shippers reduce their back office costs by streamlining operations and reducing or eliminating check calls, while ensuring strong privacy controls to the drivers and enhancing the quality of service they provide their shippers.”

The solution can work with feature phones, smartphones and special-purpose devices to provide GPS and indoor location tracking, location-tagged barcode & QR code scanning on pallet/container/packages, GPS-tagged photos for proof of shipment and proof of delivery, signature capture, enterprise-grade messaging, and operations analytics.
