Transflo joins the cloud

Dec. 6, 2012

Pegasus TransTech has introduced a cloud-based version of its Transflo document management and workflow solution. Transflo DMS will help speed the delivery-to-cash cycle, save time, and improve operating efficiency of any size carrier, the company said.

The scalable solution automates time-critical business processes such as accounts payable and receivable, vehicle maintenance, recruiting and more.

“Cloud computing has gained wide acceptance in the business world and with good reason,” said Bob Helms, chairman & CEO of Pegasus TransTech. “The day of the big, disruptive implementation and ongoing IT hardware expense is passing. Agile, forward-looking companies of all sizes have reduced costs, streamlined corporate structure, and increased productivity by moving in-house IT functions to the cloud.”

Users can streamline business processes, store, index, organize, search, retrieve, route, and share electronic documents online, Pegasus TransTech said.

Integration is available with Pegasus TransTech’s scan capture products, including Transflo Express truck stop scanning, Transflo Now!, Anywhere scanning, and Transflo Mobile. Transflo DMS also integrates with existing third-party solutions including accounting programs, dispatch systems, mobile communication devices, and maintenance management software, among others.

Add-ons to the solution include automated express indexing, index validation, and the business automation tool Transflo Workflow, which enables a company to map, manage, and automate virtually any business process.

The solution can also gather, merge, and auto-generate documents for electronic invoicing and settlements.
