Transportation Costing Group signs PC*Miler reseller agreement

April 23, 2013

Transportation Costing Group (TCG) has signed a reseller agreement with ALK Technologies to sell ALK’s PC*Miler products.

TCG is a provider of activity-based costing and profitability management solutions for truckload and less-than-truckload carriers.

Under the reseller agreement, PC*Miler | Streets, PC*Miler | Hazmat and PC*Miler | Tolls are interfaced with TCG’s truckload and LTL costing software solutions. In conjunction with the TCG products, ALK solutions provide commercial street-level and hazmat routing, mileage and mapping, along with truck-specific toll costs in the U.S. and Canada. The combined solution will allow motor carriers to calculate distances, detailed driving directions, drive times, state-by-state mileage summaries, stop optimization and more.

“With this reseller agreement, TCG has further solidified its relationship with ALK Technologies,” said Ken Manning, president of TCG. “The truckload and LTL motor carriers we serve will benefit from the availability of a highly fact based and accurate representation of costs when they are pricing prospective freight. We are looking forward to working closely with ALK to better serve our mutual customers.”
