XRS sets dates for User Event

Nov. 15, 2012

The dates have been set for the second annual XRS User Event (XUE). XRS, formerly Xata Corp., said the 2013 event will be bigger and even more informative than the sold-out 2012 event this past August.

The Hyatt Regency in Minneapolis will host the 2013 event, taking place Aug. 18-20, 2013.

“After an immensely successful first XUE, we are thrilled to host a second conference for our users,” said Jay Coughlan, chairman & CEO of XRS. “The sold-out event was a smashing success, and left us feeling energized like never before. We’re carefully considering all of the feedback we have heard from trucking executives, fleet managers, dispatch managers, operations directors, IT staff and more in order to make XUE 2013 even bigger and better. It’ll be a challenge, but we’re working to top the first user event and our two major announcements: our new XRS name and new all-mobile platform.”

XUE is designed for trucking industry professionals who want to learn how to thrive in today’s tough economic environment, the government said. Focused on fleet optimization, compliance and the trends affecting the trucking industry, the event will feature an extensive education program, including presentations by industry experts and many of the companies with whom XRS partners.

Socialization and the ability to share success stories with other fleet professionals are among the benefits, the company added. XRS team members will be on hand to answer questions, offer advice and interact with users to learn more about how XRS can meet their needs.

During the inaugural XUE, XRS made two major industry announcements: the company’s name change from Xata Corp. to XRS Corp., and the introduction of an all-mobile platform for trucking compliance, performance and fleet optimization, also called XRS.

Sponsorship and registration information for XUE 2013 will be available in December. Registration, speakers and other announcements related to the event are available at www.xueconference.com.
