Aljex Software is now offering paperless statements to clients of its Aljex TIN (Transportation Intermediary Network) application.TIN is a map-oriented management software for brokers, 3PLs and other transportation providers.
“When a customer says he didn’t receive an invoice or PODs, one click will email an accounts receivable statement with links to all the relevant data, including document images,” said Tom Heine, president. “Our customers don’t have to find a particular invoice then search through documents or digital document systems for the correct backup. It’s all right there and it’s a great time saver.”
Users of the new e-statement feature can access credit information quickly with a click of the mouse, according to Aljex---. When the credit limit button is selected, two figures appear, one of the amount of credit billed, but not yet paid and one that shows the total of customer shipments in house, but not yet billed. The combined result identifies how much credit has been extended to the customer, whether it has been billed or not.
“Credit is the number one concern for most of our clients. The new features are an excellent way to put important information in front of dispatchers or anyone with the authority to accept a shipment or load,” said Heine. “E-Statements are the ultimate credit and collections tool.”
