Aug. 31, 2009
Beall Corp.’s new composite tank trailer “The Competitor” will debut in Nashville.

The NTTC Tank Maintenance Seminar in Nashville will be the coming-out party for Beall Corp.’s new composite tank trailer “The Competitor.”

The trailer, available in tandem axle or tri-axle configurations, will be formally unveiled during the seminar, being held in Nashville.

The barrel-shaped Competitor was built using FEA and a wound balsa construction, carbon veil throughout the lining and Kevlar corners. It includes an automotive exterior finish. The company said the composite nature allows the tank barrel to be sparked and continuity tested.
