EBE Technologies’ CSA 2010 DashBoard solution is getting a wider audience thanks to an agreement with Hub International.

Hub, a provider of transportation insurance solutions, will serve as a reseller of EBE’s solution to its more than 7,000 transportation-related clients throughout North America. In addition, Hub will offer incentive consortium pricing to its clients.

“Implementing this solution today gives carriers a leg up on identifying the most at-risk drivers so they can take action on them before the system goes live in the summer,” said Cindy Nelson, EBE’s vp-marketing and business development. “While partnering with Hub certainly broadens our sales and marketing efforts, more importantly, it demonstrates our commitment to offering innovative business solutions to carriers, regardless of fleet size, segment or industry type, which address the industry's most pressing business challenges.”

The CSA 2010 DashBoard helps carriers prepare for the new FMCSA’s safety reporting procedures, which go into effect in June.

“As a company that specializes in providing products and services to the trucking industry, we at Hub are dedicated to promoting safety services that will mitigate the cost of insurance to our clients. This software solution offers a solid benefit that will simplify compliance and administration of government mandated safety regulations at a truly reasonable cost,” said Mike Birge, president of Hub Transportation Insurance.

The DashBoard provides real-time visibility into carrier safety scores, the same information that will be used by FMCSA to create the fleet’s safety rating. By knowing this information, carriers can correct risky driving behavior quickly, which can improve the carrier’s safety score and could also lead to a decrease in insurance premiums, EBE said.
