Beginning later this winter, Internet Truckstop will provide the Pro-TREAD Training Series from Instructional Technologies, Inc. (ITI) to small trucking companies and owner-operators.

The two organizations recently announced their collaboration to make the training series available through www.truckstop.com.

“We are very excited to be working with Internet Truckstop as they have enormous access to companies and drivers,” said Jim Voorhees, CEO of ITO. “Their site and offerings are an incredible resource for our industry. The advent of CSA will open small trucking fleets to the same level of DOT inspections that larger fleets have been having for many years. Pro-TREAD training will help prepare drivers at small fleets to meet the expected inspections.”

“Offering outstanding products and business opportunities to the customers of Internet Truckstop has always been our mission. Often times owner-operators and small trucking companies can’t compete with large transportation companies simply because their drivers don’t have the same access to great training,” said Leigh Foxall, director national accounts for Internet Truckstop. “Now, the Pro-TREAD training modules will be offered to our customers allowing them access to training either in the cab of their truck or while at home - training which could help to prevent accidents before they happen and decrease the company’s liability.”
