Carriers with capacity to spare can now post available truck locations for free on the website of International Transport Systems (ITS). ITS provides domestic and international transportation services.

The company said the ability for potential customers to see where available trucks are will increase load-matching efficiency and allow carriers to more fully utilize their equipment.

“This is the second installment of a program that began in May which allows our carriers an easy way to communicate when and where their available equipment is,” said Ron Cornille, CEO of ITS. “In return, we can then provide them with more loads. After all, if we don't know where trucks are, it's impossible to maximize your capacity and offer revenue opportunities.”

The feature uses map-based technology to create a visual representation of available trucks in real-time.
