With the release of a responsibility filtering module, McLeod Software’s LoadMaster IX and PowerBroker II management systems can now restrict access to various reports and features based on levels of user responsibility. The module allows companies to assign up to five levels of access to users, customers, carriers, locations, drivers, tractors and trailers.
For example, brokers and carriers with brokerage operations who use outside agents can provide them with full LoadMaster or PowerBroker functionality while restricting agent access to their assigned orders and movements, the company says. The responsibility access feature can be set to limit users to specific menu options, and within those screens only their orders, locations and customers can be viewed.
The new module can also be used by larger companies with separate business units to restrict user access to orders and movements.
The responsibility filtering module offers new reporting capabilities as well, allowing users to receive reports based on their responsibility assignments. LoadMaster and PowerBroker reports now able to take advantage of responsibility codes include Available Orders, Tractor Location, Tractor Revenue, Driver Revenue, Unbilled Orders, Trailer Location, Customer Revenue, Brokerage Revenue, Brokerage Operations and Aged Accounts Receivable.
