Designed especially for smaller and midsized fleets that don’t have the time or resources to devote to a complex software installation, a new offering from The Eminent Group is said to get these companies utilizing the software in weeks, not months.

The company’s RapidOTM is a tool designed to speed the installation and implementation of the Oracle Transportation Management software, which can take months to fully install, Eminent said, making it cost-prohibitive for smaller operations.

“Many midsize organizations have long wished they could bring Oracle Transportation Management into their companies,” said Eminent CEO Kathy Moore. “But the expense and time required to implement Oracle Transportation Management can present barriers for some companies.”

Oracle Transportation Management delivers complete transportation planning and execution capabilities to shippers and third-party logistics providers.

RapidOTM is a cost-effective offering that accelerates the implementation of the Oracle Transportation Management application, helping make it more attainable for midsize companies, Eminent said.

“Using templates, default parameters, fast data loading and industry leading business practices, Eminent can now offer clients Oracle Transportation Management benefits in a matter of weeks,” Moore said. “That means companies can start saving money and improving services in their transportation and logistics structure almost immediately.”
