Trinium intermodal, TL customers gain access to PeopleNet data

Intermodal and truckload users of Trinium Technologies’ TMS (Transportation Management System) can now take advantage of data from PeopleNet’s mobile communications system and Automated Workflow.

A deal between PeopleNet and Trinium, which provides enterprise management systems for domestic intermodal and international container operators, allows GPS data; geofencing capabilities; and inbound, outbound and freeform messaging data from PeopleNet systems to flow directly into the Trinium-TMS.

“This is a partnership truly driven by market demand for systems that will enable business expansion into additional sectors of the transportation industry,” said Kerri Tabor, PeopleNet integration services manager. “In fact, several intermodal trucking and truckload companies have been using both PeopleNet and Trinium systems, indicating a growing trend and the need for our support.”
