Mitchell 1 and Zonar Systems have struck an agreement to integrate two of their popular fleet management tools into a single tool to identify and diagnose maintenance problems.
Mitchell 1’s Repair-Connect and Zonar’s Ground Traffic Control will be combined into Zonar Rx which will communicate trouble codes from an engine ECM while also providing service information required to diagnose and repair the problem.
“The relationship with Zonar and the development of this new offering is a natural evolution for both companies. Integrating our Repair-Connect application with Zonar’s ECM data capturing capability takes diagnostics and repair information to a whole new level,” said Dave Costantino, Mitchell 1’s CVG director.
Repair-Connect is a web-based application that uses diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) to gather information required to fix engine problems. Ground Traffic Control is a fleet management portal that presents information from Zonar’s electronic fleet management products in real-time.
Zonar Rx will notify the technician of the problem and present repair information, the companies said.
Mitchell 1 also announced it has upgraded Repair-Connect to provide engine diagnostic information for both gas and diesel engines in Classes 4-8.
