The latest edition of its Dossier trucking software package has been released by Arsenault Associates. Version 5.0 includes the Dossier Fuel Management System with automated monitoring, reporting and control of fuel thanks to new reports with decision support tools and a graphical dashboard that displays data summaries and trends, Arsenault said.
The fuel management system, in many cases, uses data already in the user database. Dossier can provide a complete analysis to identify problems and offer solutions. Fleets can cut data entry of fuel and meter data and improve accuracy of those inputs by utilizing the Dossier Fuel Data Import option which links to automated fuel islands, fuel card systems, credit cards, onboard computers and GPS systems, said Arsenault. Dossier also uses current and historical use and management analysis tools, the company noted, and displays under- and over-performing drivers and equipment.
“There is a tremendous amount of value in Dossier Version 5.0,” said Bob Hausler, Arsenault vp-marketing and technology. “It represents the ideas, feedback, and suggestions of the Dossier user community, to whom we listen very carefully. We’re collectively all about making fleet maintenance easier, more efficient, and adding to the bottom line, for both current and future Dossier users.”
Fleet information can now be displayed with color graphs and charts as well as with tabular views allowing prioritization of work through the Dossier Daily Reminder dashboard. Users can also configure their own toolbar with any system function, and managers can decide which features and icons can be seen and used by individual users.
Dossier 5.0 also provides a number of other enhancements, including the use of bar-coding to ensure higher accuracy while reducing data entry, integration of the VMRS standard Work Accomplished Codes as defined by the Technology and Maintenance Council of the ATA, estimated hours to perform preventive maintenance services added to the Daily Reminder and expanded capability for Dossier Report Writer.
The upgrade is included at no charge for current Dossier users with software maintenance and support service agreements.
