Inflation Solutions Group (ISG) has posted a downloadable video on its website that explains the benefits of using its nitrogen tire-inflation system. According to ISG, switching from air to nitrogen to inflate truck tires will reduce tire-inflation check times, increase fuel economy, help increase tire life, and reduce tire failures as well as lower tire-disposal costs.
Added up, said ISG, all the above stated benefits of using nitrogen inflation will provide a 4 cents per mile savings per truck.
The company said it provides each fleet customer with a complete site evaluation and then recommends its most efficient system to convert its tractors and trailers to nitrogen inflation. ISG also said it will provide inflation hardware as well as on-site training.
