Having just opened two new Wingfoot Truck Care Centers last month, Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., has opened its 41st Wingfoot Truck Care Center, a full-service facility in Berkshire, OH.

“The center is located on a Flying J property just north of Columbus, OH, at Exit 131 along Interstate 71, a major north-to-south trucking route,” said Clint Schrock, director of on-highway operations for Goodyear.

The three-bay Berkshire facility provides oil changes and other preventive maintenance services; light mechanical services, such as brake, electrical and heating/air conditioning repair; and 24/7 roadside assistance. In addition, the Truck Care Center offers Goodyear and Dunlop truck tires as well as retreads.

Wingfoot Truck Care Centers, along with Boss Truck Shops Inc. and Highway Service Ventures/Patriot Farms Flying J, are members of Goodyear’s Uni-Maax Truck Care network, which encompasses nearly 80 locations coast to coast.

“Uni-Maxx is dedicated to establishing a nationwide network of on-highway truck service shops that provide a consistent product and service offering and are committed to professional service for every customer,” said Schrock. “Our intent is that the Uni-Maxx network will continue to grow, fueled in part by the addition of more Wingfoot Truck Care Center locations.”

Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems LLC operates more than 140 commercial tire sales, service and retread facilities nationwide including 41 on-highway Wingfoot Truck Care Center outlets in 15 states.
