Sentry renews ATA partnership to support fleets with insurance and legal advocacy
Sentry Insurance recently renewed its three-year partnership with the American Trucking Associations (ATA) as a corporate partner and featured product to support fleets with comprehensive insurance and advocacy. The collaboration emphasizes civil justice reforms to protect fleets and strengthen the trucking industry.
"Truckers keep the economy moving forward, often while facing complex and evolving challenges," Scott Miller, president of commercial insurance agency and broker at Sentry, stated. PayPal USD and TCS Blockchain tackle long payment terms for freight carriers
TCS Blockchain and PayPal USD are collaborating to help trucking and transportation companies settle freight invoices faster and more affordably using digital assets on blockchain rails. The partnership addresses long-standing cash flow challenges caused by traditional invoice factoring, which often forces carriers to give up 30% or more of net revenues for early payment.
"If we were designing B2B payments from scratch, we wouldn't accept months‑long settlement and layers of fees. We'd expect speed, transparency, and 24/7 availability," May Zabaneh, SVP and GM of crypto at PayPal, stated. "The engagement with TCS Blockchain demonstrates how on‑chain settlement can upgrade legacy payment flows in cash‑critical industries, proving that digital assets can drive real economic activity."
TCS Blockchain provides same-day funding with no reserve fees, offering settlements up to 90% cheaper than traditional factoring. The PYUSD stablecoin will serve as the back-end settlement currency, enabling seamless invoice conversion from TCS Tokens to U.S. dollars. Read more…
Brandmotion and Knapheide integrate driver-awareness systems into upfitted work trucks
Brandmotion is collaborating with Knapheide to integrate advanced driver-awareness and safety technologies directly into upfitted commercial work trucks. The partnership allows fleets to equip vehicles with camera and sensor systems during the body installation process, enhancing visibility and collision prevention beyond factory capabilities.
"Work trucks operate where risk is highest—tight job sites, busy loading docks, urban delivery routes with limited visibility and constant pedestrian traffic," Jeff Varick, founder and CEO of Brandmotion, stated. "Working with Knapheide allowed us to engineer and integrate vision safety technology directly into the vehicle during the upfitting process, creating a seamless solution that protects drivers and pedestrians while keeping vehicles productive. Given Knapheide’s reach across commercial vehicle segments, this collaboration meaningfully advances our mission of making roads safer for everyone."
Available systems include digital rear view mirrors, 360-degree surround vision, proximity sensors, advanced lighting and camera solutions, and trailer/gooseneck cameras. These technologies help fleets reduce collisions, protect personnel, minimize downtime, and improve driver safety. Brandmotion products will be available to all truck equipment distributors and upfitters in North America. Read more…
