MHC Carrier Transicold is expanding operations with the relocation of its Kansas City operations. The strategic move will enable the dealership to better serve customers in the Kansas City metropolitan area.

On August 10, 2009, MHC Carrier Traniscold–Kansas City will open the doors to its new location at 2700 South 88th Street in Kansas City KS. This location is minutes away from downtown and can be accessed easily using Interstate 435. The facility offers five drive-through trailer bays and more than six acres of parking, as well as a double-deck parts warehouse to accommodate an expansion of available inventory and a variety of new product lines. The remodeled location includes an overhead crane, energy-efficient fluorescent lights, and a high-tech exhaust fan system.

“Our new location places us within minutes of all the large refrigerated carriers in the area, as well as great access to the rail yards,” said Al Guinn, MHC Carrier Transicold general manager.

MHC is a network of four Carrier Transicold dealerships, as well as a network of heavy-duty and medium-duty truck dealers with 39 locations in 10 states. Through its formal quality program, MHC delivers superior service and maintains ISO 9001 certification.
