Kenworth of Buffalo has moved its Syracuse dealership into a 26,000-sq.-ft. facility at Exit 35 off Interstate 90 (New York Thruway). The new facility is accessible from I-81, State Routes 11 and 481, and the Syracuse airport.
The new dealership features 12 service bays, with one bay dedicated as a wash bay. It also has 4,500 sq. ft. of parts warehousing and 1,000 sq. ft. of parts display. The drivers’ lounge offers wireless Internet and flat-screen TV.
The facility offers free shuttle service and is a New York state inspection station.
Kenworth of Buffalo – Syracuse will host a customer appreciation day Sept. 19 featuring the Kenworth T680 during its national road tour.
“Since entering Syracuse in 2006, we’ve continued to grow along with the trucking market,” said Tim Crist, vice president of operations for Kenworth of Buffalo at its Buffalo headquarters. “Our Syracuse facility carries more than a half million dollars’ worth of parts inventory including all-makes TRP Parts to help service our customers’ needs. Plus the new Syracuse location is well-situated in Western New York and has room for expansion.”
In addition to Kenworth of Buffalo and Kenworth of Buffalo – Syracuse, the dealer’s four locations also include Kenworth of Buffalo – Albany and Kenworth of Buffalo – Rochester.
