Old Dominion opens southwest Chicago service center

Old Dominion Freight Line opened a 100-door facility southwest of Chicago serving a regional industrial and manufacturing hub. The Chicago West Service Center is a newly constructed facility located in Crest Hill, with close proximity to a number of busy thoroughfares, including interstates 55, 80, 88, 355, 39, 90 and 57.

“This new facility bolsters Old Dominion’s growing national network,” said Brendan Martinez, manager of the Chicago West Service Center. “We look forward to maintaining the company’s promise of offering a premium service to our customers from the new service center.”

The facility’s service area includes West Chicago, Crest Hill, Joliet, Aurora, Romeoville, Bolingbrook, Naperville, Woodbridge, Downers Grove, New Lenox, Westmont, Wheaton and Batavia.

The Chicago West Service Center is located at 16811 Enterprise Boulevard in Crest Hill. It is the seventh Old Dominion service center in Illinois and employs 91 people.
