Money Roll: The latest on freight, rates, the economy in 6 slides

In the American Trucker Money Roll this week, ATA reported tonnage was up in March; even better, March's Cass Truckload Linehaul Index rose to an all-time high; more recently, however, DAT spot rates slipped last week; also last week, intermodal traffic surged; again for the month March, FTR reported trailer sales are so-so but builds are high; and DOT has reported February total NAFTA trade slipped from last year, although truck trade did increase slightly.
