The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. is looking for its next Highway Hero. Nominations for the 27th annual Goodyear North America Highway Hero Award will be accepted through Nov. 30.
The award honors truck drivers who perform good deeds along the highways of North America. To be considered for the award, the nominee must be a full-time truck driver; a resident of the U.S. or Canada; the incident recognized must have occurred in the U.S. or Canada; the nominee must have been on the job or on the way to or from work, and in his or her rig at the time of incident; the truck at the time of incident must have had 14 wheels or more; and the incident must have taken place between Nov. 16, 2008, and Nov. 15, 2009.
