Less than 60 days after its initial filing for bankruptcy protection, Transportation Technologies Inc, parent company of Kidron, Hackney Bros, and Hackney & Son, emerged from reorganization under Chapter 11 of the US bankruptcy code. Restructuring became final on February 4,2002.

The reorganized company is owned by management and a group of institutional investors. All operations remain intact and continue in business-as-usual. Kidron is headed by John May, president.
