After a three-year search for a new location, Food Services of America Portland has purchased the distribution center in Woodbourn OR that previously belonged to AgriFrozen. Although the company previously had purchased land in Hillsboro OR for a new facility, it chose to move into the AgriFrozen warehouse. At 372,000 square feet, the new center will be the largest of the 10 warehouses operated by Food Services of America.

Anticipated improvements to the distribution center include adding 24,000 square feet of office space and a 14,000-sq-ft fleet maintenance facility. In addition, 44 new doors will be added to the shipping dock. The new building is almost 130,000 square feet larger than the warehouse Food Services of America is vacating. Food Services of America is a wholly owned subsidiary of Services Group of America, based in Seattle WA.
