Third-quarter net sales and financial services revenues were $2.0 billion, 33% higher than the $1.5 billion reported for the comparable period in 2001. Net income of $128.9 million increased more than 200% from the $39.4 million earned in third-quarter 2001.
Net sales and financial services revenues for the first nine months of 2002 were $5.3 billion, compared with $4.6 billion in 2001. For the first nine months of 2002, Paccar reported net income of $249.8 million, compared with $123.2 million in 2001.
