The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has posted Thermo King’s Service Bulletin TT505 on the Transport Refrigeration Unit (TRU) website.

The bulletin provides an engine model year look-up using the engine serial number.

A direct link to service bulletin can be found at www.arb.ca.gov/diesel/tru/documents/tk-tt505-isuzu-engine-model-year.www.arb.ca.gov/diesel/tru.htm, or at the ARBER website, www.arb.ca.gov/arber/arber.htm.

TRU owners are required to provide unit and engine make, model, model year, and serial number when they register their TRUs under CARB’s Equipment Registration (ARBER) system.

Further information about registering TRUs in ARBER and submitting Operator Reports can be found at the TRU website, www.arb.ca.gov/diesel/tru.htm, or at the ARBER website, www.arb.ca.gov/arber/arber.htm.
