Firestone Industrial Products Company has announced its Ride-Rite air helper spring kits are now available for the Dodge Sprinter. The kits offer maximum load support and ride comfort through compensating for varying loads and road conditions, the company said.

According to Firestone, the Ride-Rite kit also maintains brake effectiveness, reduces tire wear, and levels off-center loads while providing up to 5,000 lbs. of load-leveling capacity.

"The new Dodge Sprinter has more interior space, can seat up to 10 passengers and has extra storage facilities available when it is used as a mini-bus," said Paul Gibson, product manager, Firestone Industrial Products, Ride-Rite division. "The Sprinter has also become a very popular choice for Class B motorhomes due to its power and fuel mileage. All of this means additional weight can be carried inside the van, putting stress on the suspension. Firestone's Ride-Rite air helper springs keep the Sprinter's leaf springs from sagging under the extra weight and causing possible damage."
