Networkcar has signed an agreement with Johnson Industries, a wholesale distributor of automotive parts, to market Networkcar’s fleet management system to its customers. This arrangement will leverage Johnson’s Industries’ influence on shipping companies, automotive dealerships and rental car outlets.

“Networkcar’s alliance with Johnson Industries will help us expand the depth and breadth of our marker coverage through their strong base of loyal fleet customers,” said Networkcar president Dave Dutch.

The fleet management system collects data on engine performance and vehicle location via a vehicle’s engine computer and global positioning system (GPS), and transmits it wirelessly to fleet managers.
