Swift Transportation Co. Inc. announced today that its revenues for the second quarter increased 10.7% to $584.9 million. Excluding a $23.4 million fuel surcharge, the increase in revenues would have been 7.9%. For the six months ended June 30, the company's revenues increased 13.1% to $1.136 billion from $1.004 billion in 2002. The first six months of 2003 include $46.5 million of fuel surcharge.
