The American Trucking Assns.’ Safety & Loss Prevention Management Council at an Eaton Corp-sponsored dinner will announce the winners of its top two awards – Driver of the Year and Safety Director of the Year on Oct. 7 in Miami.

“These are among the two most prestigious safety awards in the trucking industry, and demonstrates the council’s genuine interest in advancing safety,” said Eaton’s Jeffrey Barylak, global marketing manager for the Eaton’s Vorad Collision Warning Systems. “Because we are equally committed to safety, we decided to show our support for the council and its members for their hard work in advancing safety.”

As part of its awards dinner sponsorship, Eaton also will be presenting attendees with commemorative souvenirs to further recognize the members’ safety commitment.
