Building on the success of its 7-in. round LED headlamps, Truck-Lite has released new LED auxiliary work and spot lamps. The 7-in round lights provide high-output beam patterns as well as the extended life and energy efficiency of light emitting diode technology, the company said.

Available in 12- and 24-volt versions, the ten-diode lights offer crisper and white light output than incandescent alternatives, said Truck-Lite..

The spot lamp generates a long, narrow light pattern through 45,000 peak candlepower. The work lamp, generating peak candlepower of 3,000, creates a rectangular pattern suitable for general use.

Heavy-duty mounting brackets and hardware are included and both lamps can be installed using an integrated mounting bracket for modified housings. The lamps are composed of epoxy encapsulated electronics that are resistant to shock and vibration.

“Recognizing the potential in our white lighting technology, these lamps now offer the general and long distance illumination that many of the current products out there on the market fall short of providing for the end-user,” said John Howells, vp-sales.
