New Century Transportation names Olszewski president

New Century Transportation has appointed Mark Olszewski president. Olszewski will oversee the organization's management and operations, in addition to the design and implementation of revenue growth strategies of the New Jersey-based LTL carrier.

“Mark Olszewski is a seasoned industry veteran of the transportation industry and brings a wealth of managerial and operational experience to the company,” said Terrence Gilbert, CEO. “His multi-functional expertise complements the experience of the existing management team and poises New Century Transportation for future growth.”

Olszewski has over 25 years of experience in the transportation industry, having begun his career with less-than-truckload carrier Roadway Express in 1983.

While at Roadway Express, he held various management positions, including director of regional operations and vice president of the Western Div.

Most recently, Olszewski was the senior executive responsible for the complete operation of YRC Reimer and YRC Mexico, where he directed daily operations and sales functions for 35 strategic locations throughout Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.
