Truckstop announced seven new features to help carriers find loads, including a backhaul search, load popularity metrics, a broker's authority age filter, and more.
Key takeaways:
To help carriers find loads on its load boards, Truckstop added four new features and plans to add three more.
The current features include a broker's authority age filter, load popularity metrics, backhaul search functions, and recommendations for similar loads.
Functions planned for later this year include lane suggestions, financial compatibility data, and filtering for previously-onboarded brokers.
Truckstop announced seven new features to enhance the load matching experience for its load board carrier customers.
The company said that its new load board features are designed to make it easier to find loads that align with carriers’ specific needs and preferences. Four of the features are currently in place, and three are planned for later this year:
Authority age filter: This feature allows carriers to filter loads based on the broker’s authority age requirement. This saves carriers time by allowing them to view only loads from brokers with which they may be eligible to work.
Load popularity: Allows carriers to assess load postings by the number of times they have been viewed, helping identify opportunities with less competition.
Backhaul search: A convenient ‘swap’ icon allows carriers to quickly reverse their origin and destination search, making it easier to find return loads from their current location.
Similar loads recommendations: This feature suggests similar loads that align with the carrier’s search criteria, helping them discover more relevant opportunities.
Lane suggestions: For carriers with flexible destinations, this feature provides intelligent lane suggestions, offering guidance and reducing the overwhelming feeling of too many “anywhere” options.
Factorability data: This feature allows Factoring customers to quickly determine if a broker is financially stable and Truckstop Factorable directly from the load summary page. This eliminates the need to navigate away from the load board to check a broker’s status.
RMIS onboarded loads: This filter allows carriers to easily identify loads posted by brokers they have already onboarded with. It streamlines the booking process and reduces the risk associated with working with unknown brokers.
“At Truckstop, we’re always innovating to better serve carriers, and these advancements reflect our commitment to listening to our customers and addressing the challenges of today’s competitive freight market,” Sam Peterson, Truckstop's CTO, said. “These new features provide significant benefits to carriers, enabling them to operate more efficiently, make informed decisions, and ultimately improve their bottom line.”
