DTN Weather Services is bringing weather to personal digital assistants. The company has released StormGuard, a PDA-based weather system. People in weather-sensitive industries can receive current conditions, forecasts, and the latest color radar images.

StormGuard goes anywhere a cell phone does. It works in conjunction with a PDA connected by cable to a cell phone. Dialing in to an Internet service provider, via the cell phone, allows the user to download weather information to his or her PDA. The process provides a quick link to information from most locations.
