GreenRoad has partnered with ProMiles to offer ProMiles Fuel Tax Automation services as an integrated component of the GreenRoad service. Integration was made possible by the recently announced GreenRoad open integration platform.

The ProMiles integration enables GreenRoad to offer fleet owners and operators a new level of convenience for the reporting of state and province required tax mile reports, reporting required by the International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA). It also offers compliance verification mandated by US and Canadian reporting requirements.

With this integration, paper trip sheets, data entry errors, and missing trips are eliminated. This enables operators, managers, and drivers to feel more confident in their fuel tax reporting compliance and accuracy.

GreenRoad combines advanced in-vehicle driver performance technology with easy access, online data, and reporting to immediately transform driving culture. By dramatically reducing crashes and providing fuel savings, a positive return on investment is produced within months. Most GreenRoad customers experience a 50% crash reduction after six months of GreenRoad use, and average a 10% improvement in fuel economy. This can go as high as 15% with GreenRoad’s active idling monitoring.
