Fixed in-vehicle phone

Oct. 15, 2012

Bury Technologies has released its CP1100, a fixed in-vehicle truck phone with dialog plus voice control.

The phone has a 2.8 in. display screen, illuminated keys, voice dialing and voice control of menu functions and a 2.3-watt signal boost. It also displays text messages, reads text messages out loud, displays phone book and call list, the company said.

A memo function records up to two minutes of conversation and supports fixed dialing numbers. There is also an auto mute of entertainment system (radio dependent), and emergency SOS calling.

The radio module in the Bury CP1100 is strictly GSM and will only work with an AT&T SIM card at this time. The Bury CP1100 does not come equipped with a SIM card.
