Ryder System Inc has partnered with Instructional Technologies Inc (ITI) to host, market, and distribute an Internet version of ITI's interactive driver training program called TREAD-1. The program, which will be marketed under the name Ryder Pro-TREAD, is designed for Ryder customers, drivers, and the transportation industry, and is available through www.RyderSafetyServices.com.

The program is a series of interactive lessons compliant with the only federally approved driver training program, designed to increase driver safety and strengthen risk management. It includes training in topics such as defensive driving, driver wellness, driver qualifications, and hours of service, and is designed to train both new and veteran drivers in large fleets or small trucking companies.
