Espar Heating Systems has introduced its “E-delivery truck kit,” an all-in-one system to reduce idling while keeping the cab at a comfortable temperature.

The product includes a 17,000 Btu Hydronic 5 fuel-operated operated engine pre heater in aluminum covered box, a “set and forget” programmable timer and multi function dash mounted switch.

The system allows fleets to reduce idling while ensuring the cab remains comfortable for the operator. The Hydronic 5 is integrated into the cooling system of the engine.

According to Espar, “The thermal energy gained is then distributed through the vehicle's own heat exchanger as forced hot air and this heats the interior of the vehicle via existing air vents. The engine is warmed up with the residual heat in the cooling water.”
