Brenntag AG, a global diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) supplier, will transition to a new chief executive early this summer when COO Steven Holland succeeds Stephen Clark as CEO, effective June 22.

William Fidler, president & CEO of Brenntag’s North American business, is also joining the Germany-based company’s board of directiors and will oversee the firm’s Latin American operations as well.

Holland joined Brenntag in 2006 following the acquisition of Albion Chemical Distribution Group, where he had been CEO for the previous eight years.

After Clark steps down as CEO of Brenntag AG, he’ll be nominated to serve on the firm’s supervisory board – succeeding Thomas Weinmann, one of the major shareholder’s representatives on the Supervisory Board.
