Propane autogas refueling to be demonstrated at NTEA

Feb. 3, 2012

The refueling of a propane vehicle will be demonstrated at the upcoming National Truck Equipment Assn. (NTEA) Work Truck Show.

The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) will display the cost-saving and ease-of-refueling advantages of vehicles fueled by propane autogas, the organization said. Also, PERC will discuss onsite dispensing options.

PERC will also be hosting a panel discussion at the Green Truck Summit. Entitled “Propane Autogas: Green, Clean, Economical,” the discussion explore the economic and environmental attributes of propane-autogas-fueled vehicle platforms, and how to introduce them into a fleet.

That panel discussion will take place at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 6. There will also be a ride-drive opportunity for attendees.

The NTEA Work Truck Show will run March 6 to 8 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.
