Clean technologies conference set

The Houston-Galveston Area Council, as part of its Clean Cities/Clean Vehicles initiative, will be hosting a clean technologies vehicle conference in November. The seventh annual Clean Fleet Technologies Conference: Fueling the Choice, will feature panel discussions and educational sessions on alternative fuels and fleet technologies.

Topics will include funding opportunities for advanced vehicles, fleet maintenance and transportation, alternative fuel infrastructure developments and energy/transportation policy. There will also be exhibits, a ride and drive opportunity, vehicle displays and networking reception.

The event will take place on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with the conference running from 8:30 a.m. through 3:45 p.m. The reception will take place at 3:45 p.m.

There is a $75 cost per attendee until Oct. 28 and $100 thereafter.
