Fontaine Modification joins Alliance AutoGas network

Jan. 24, 2013

All eight of Fontaine Modification’s modification centers have been certified as Alliance AutoGas conversion centers. As a result, fleets can have their vehicles converted to run on propane autogas (LPG) at Fontaine’s modification centers in Garland, Texas; Denton, Texas; Laredo, Texas; Charlotte, N.C.; Dublin, Va.; Gainesville, Ga.; Springfield, Ohio; and Williamstown, W.V.

“One of our strengths as a company is our ability to process alternative fuel system installations and truck modifications for thousands of vehicles in multiple locations consistently, so the first truck is the same as the last truck, and a truck modified in Texas is handled exactly the same way as its counterpart in North Carolina,” said Paul Kokalis, executive vice president of the Fontaine Modification Alternative Fuels Group. “That consistency means no surprises for our customers, just reliable results.”

Alliance AutoGas is a national consortium of more than 50 partners that work together to provide everything fleets need to convert their vehicles to run on autogas, including conversion kits, installation, fuel, safety training and ongoing technical support.

“A leading truck modification services provider with decades of experience, Fontaine Modification is a welcome addition to Alliance AutoGas as a new certified conversion center,” said Stuart Weidie, president of Alliance AutoGas and founder of Autogas for America. “The Alliance network is continuing to expand as more fleets demand affordable alternative fuel in the face of rising gasoline prices. Autogas is the most practical fuel choice for fleets because it’s clean, reliable, cost-effective and widely available, now.”
