• Westport offering free CNG fuel to fleets

    Dec. 5, 2013

Westport and Clean Energy have joined forces to offer fleets purchasing compressed natural gas (CNG) systems the opportunity to receive free CNG.

The program is open to fleets purchasing five or more Westport WiNG power systems between now and Dec. 31, 2013. Westport will provide fuel credits to be used at any Clean Energy station across the U.S.

The free fuel credits are being offered on a “first-come-first-served” basis, and up to 750,000 gasoline gallon equivalent (GGE) of CNG fuel will be given away by Westport during the promotion.

Fleets have until December 31, 2015 to use their free fuel credits.

Westport offers a wide range of Ford natural gas vehicles: from Super Duty pickup trucks to Transit Connects. Westport-powered vehicles operate on CNG alone (dedicated) or on CNG and gasoline (bi-fuel).
