• Making good decisions about alternative power: a free webinar

    May 18, 2015

Many fleets today are considering adding alternative power vehicles to their operations, but getting the alternative power choice right can be a lot tougher than it seems. Two alternative power experts who have been down that decision path with a variety of alternative power options from propane to natural gas, hybrids to electric vehicles, will share the lessons they have learned in a free, one-hour webinar on Thursday, May 21 at 2:00 p.m. EDT.

Jeff Bush, national fleet purchasing manager for Nestlé Waters North America and Ronald Gitelman, fleet management program administrator for Yale University, will share their experience-based insights on successfully choosing and deploying alternative power vehicles, including essential questions to ask about your current fleet operation in order to avoid scuttling the success of your project before it even gets started.

They will also talk about why they selected various alternative power options, including factors such as upfront cost, maintenance, operating cost, fueling costs and infrastructure, driver and technician training, residual value and more.

The free webinar is being presented by Fleet Owner and ACT Expo and is sponsored by Ryder.
